Forensic-Feet Height /Science

THE FEET CAN MEASURE THE HEIGHT

The bones of the feet can tell a lot about a person. What do feet reveal about a person's height? Forensic anthropologists team up with law enforcers to help solve crimes.
Bones of the feet can reveal an interesting fact about an individual. Let's combine math with forensics to see how.

Aim:  To use forensic science techniques to measure the height of a criminal.

Material:

  1. Ruler.
  2.  A friend.

Steps:

  1.  Get a Ruler.
  2.  Measure your Height or Foot.
  3.  Put you're measure on your chart.
Findings:

Name
Foot  (cm)
Height (cm)
Janel28cm- 17.00.159cm.
Keyana23cm- 14.5.154cm.

Divide the length of each person's foot by his/her height. then multiply it by 100.

Conclusion:
Today in this experiment we did something different, we did a measure experiment but we had to measure our foot and height. Today was really interesting to found out my Foot and Height measure. What we did to found out our measure was a ruler.

Me and my buddy Janel didn't have the same measure. Hope you could do this experiment and found out you're measure. I hope you enjoy this blog post and it would be kind if you say something in the comments.

  1. Fingerprints.
  2. DNA.
  3. Footprints.
  4. Balistics.
  5. Clothes.

Finger prints

Aim: To look at the different types of fingerprints.

Materials:

  1. Balloon.
  2. Fingers.
  3. Ink Pads.

Steps

  1. Roll your finger onto the Ink Pad.
  2. Roll your finger on the balloon but don't do it really hard.
  3. Blow up the balloom.
  4. Look at the balloom and see what tip of fingerprint you have.
  5. Take a photo.

Conclusion Questions:

Today in science we did a fingerprint with ink and white powder experiment.

(Ink Pads)- We have been finding out what type of fingerprints we have and I found out today that me and my buddy have the same fingerprint but on different fingers. We both got a loop and what we used to find out our fingerprints was from a ink pad.

(White powder)- We had to find out what type of fingerprint we have in the white powder. The white powder was really mess but we ended up making a really good fingerprints. Me and my buddy didn't have the same fingerprints this time.

Hope you enjoy and I will be posting all of these kind of blog post.

What could you do to improve your results next time?- I could impove our fingerprints because we couldn't really see what type of fingerprints we have.

Why do you think fingerprints are useful to crime scene investigators?- So the investigators can go find the person who was guilty for there situations.
