DLO Maths/ Interchange.

This week for Maths we have been focusing on our blue text book. The blue text book is the highest book for maths. The page we had to work on is 128-130. There was a challenge on the maths book and it was telling us to made our own question up, so here is my Question I made up myself.

Ella West Vist

When period 1 started, we went into the auditorium and a women called Ella West came in and talk about her books that she wrote. She is Author , she is women that enjoy writing books. Here is some facts about Ella West.

• The government gets more money off her books, than she does. 
• She wrote lots of books
• She has a dog that has different eyes colour, one is brown and the other one is blue.
• We like lots of colours.
• She doesn't have a favourite book
• She like writing books about murder.
• She lives in Dunedin

What I enjoyed the most was that we learnt lots of interesting stuff about her and her life and that she was telling us who is in her family and the little bit about how she wirtes her books. Here are some books that she wrote.

    

Here is a little creative story that I have worte.

I felt anxious, I felt scared. What if people judged me who I am. I don't know what to do with myself but my name is Ryan and I speak different to others. I speak Swedish but i'm scared that people are going to judged me about my language. I am started school tomorrow and I am really nervours, I don't know what to do anymore!.

Hornby Elderly Daycare

Each Wednesday during CIP, 7 students vist the Hornby Elderly Daycare. We talk with ederly people and get to know them. We had morning tea with them, when I was there I ate cookie and a glass of lime juices. We got to pick who we wanted to talk too, I talk to this lovely lady call Dorothy. Me and Dorothy talk about life and I asked her a couple of question like what's your favoutite colourr? Do you have a husband? What's was you're favourtite thing you liked doing when you were young? It was really great to get to know the elderly people and I hope I can visit it again!




  

Colouring Competition Poster.

Today Me and Kyalanine made a poster about Mindfulness Colouring Competition. We had make a poster about all of the information about the colouring competition. Me and Kyalanine put all of the information on the poster and we just added some picture that relate to it. If you are in each of these schools you are welcome to colour your own colouring paper. We will be giving the Colouring Competition next week. I hope you like this.

My DLO Srategies /Maths

This week Interchange maths I have been focusing on a new learning stategie.Today I have a DLO video to show ourselves explanning how to solve the new strategie. This is my favourtie because it was really interesting. I was nevous doing this video because I didn't really understand this strategie but  I hope you enjoy my video and I hope you learned something on my video.
