5 type of music/sound

WALT: I can identify how music and sound sets a mood in a movie.

These are 5 type of musics

• In the movie Mary Poppins returns the music gets really tense and it sound like it's getting a bit scary and I have watch it before when i was in Invercargill.  

• In the movie Wonder the music gets really emotional and it tell people to stop BULLYING and I have watch this movie and this breaks my heart!

In the movie Karate kid in 1984 the music gets tense by getting angry and it sound like someone is smashing everything down and it sound like breaking glass. 

• In the movie jaws the music start loud and slow and then it gets faster when things are tense or something scary might be coming.  

• In the movie Star Trek the music it upbeat and triumphant. 

Camera angles/Movie

WALT: I can explain a variety of camera angles used to make a movie.

The last couple of weeks we have been trying to make a movie. We had to pick a fairy tale and my group pick the 3 little pigs. In my group their is Chloe, Anneleise, Jaz, Brianna and Rory. I have some camera angles that I would to show you.

 CAMERA ANGLES

• Over the shoulder - is a shot of someone or something taken from the perspective or camera angle form the shoulder of another person.
•  
• Long shot- long shot is a view from an even greater distance, in which people appear as small dots in the landscape if at all (eg. a shot of New York's skyline). 
• Close up- closeup in film making, television production, still photography, and the comic strip medium is a type of shot that tightly frames a person or object.  
• Zoom out- Zooming in film making and television production refers to the technique of changing the focal length of a zoom lens. 

• Side shot- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits. 

These are the camera angles that I used in my movie.

Reflection about Athletics day!

Last week on Thursday the 7th of March, the whole school had to do Athletics day. We had to pick out of competitive and social but I pick social about i was didn't want to get a place because I was a bit lazy. On Athletics day we had to be in our house colors but we had to dress up crazy. I was in green which that is Shelford.

Social is that you don't want to get place and you don't verse people. Competitive is that you want to get a place and actual verse people.

These was all of the house colors:

• Blue - Lewis 
• Yellow- Tuner
• Red- Setu
• Green- Shelford

I was hangout with my best friend Anneleise because all of the friends were going competitive but Anneleise was doing social with me, Every 7th each mouth that is when my sister pass way but it's only a mouth and I didn't really had a good day because i was thinking about my sister a lot but I was ok I try my best to have a good day. 

we had to sing a chant

Shelford is green

lewis is blue 

we are dteremine to beat you 

Tuner is yellow 

Setu is red 

we want to win for the house are dead

SORRY couldn't remember the rest of the chant.

I have really fun at Athletics day I hope we could do it again.

Community impact project question

What is the project? 
Project is found rubbish around the school and making sculptures out of it.

What is the purpose?
That people keep on littering and making the world unhealthy and we are making our school really tidy.

How much rubbish do you think we are going to collect? why do you think that?
I think a lot because people littering to much around the city and schools.

What colors do you think we will see the most? why?
I think we will see black and clear because people littering to much clear thing just like bottle and cans.

What type of art would you like to create?
I would like to create a colorful eye because I think it would look cool and I think I would use buttons to make the colorful eye.

Food technology

The past 6 weeks, years 8 S.H and Tz have been doing cooking for this term. the past 6 weeks we had made 5 meal.

• Jiffy Snacks 
• Cheese Rolls
• Sushi
• Healthy burgers 

Our teachers are Mrs Hindson and Mrs Wheeler. we have Mrs Wheeler on Tuesday and then we have Mrs Hindson on Friday but we just have cooking on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

My favourite meal is the wraps because it was really easy to make and we only needed to get the vegetables and fruit and then roll it and when I made my wrap I didn't really know how to roll but I asked the teacher and she showed me and I know have to roll a wrap now. I can probably make it at home.   

I am so happy to do cooking for the first term!
