Letter to my mum about kindness

For health we have been talking and learning about wellbeing, kindness and spiritual. Spiritual means the purpose in life, presonal identiy ( who I am ), self awareness and self esteem. But I wrote a letter about kindness to my mum and how much I appreciate my mum!

Here is my letter i wrote about my mum!

Hi Mum

In Health we are learning about Wellbeing. We are looking at random acts of kindness. Today I am carrying out a random act of kindness.

I would like to say a big thank you to you! You have been there for me since day 1 and I really appreciate it. Me and you have gone through so much but we always had each other's backs and that will be forever until the day we died! You’re not only my mum your my best friend too. You have been through so much and I just want to say a big thank you to my beautiful Mum! When i’m sad you came to worth it, you make me feel happy! I know we always have our ups and downs but we come back to each other!

Thank you for always having my back when I have my ups and downs and you have been trying your best to make my life easier for me than it is. I couldn’t ask for a better mum! I love you to the moon and back and that will always be like that!

Solubility Experiment

Solubility Experiment

Aim: To see if salt or baking soda dissolves more in water.

Hypothesis: I don't have any theories but I think the baking soda will dissolve faster but it will turn to paste but that is it changing from it's orignal form so it had dissolved.

Equiment: A 250ml breaker, 100ml measuring cylinder, salt, baking soda, a stirring rod, a teaspoon and a ruler.

Method:
1. Fill the breaker with 100ml of tap water.
2. Add a level teaspoon of baking soda. A level teaspoon is obtained by running your ruler across thr edge of the teaspoon.
3. Stir the solution until all of the subtance had dissolved.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 until no more baking soda will dissolve into the solution.
5. Record how many teaspoons of baking soda were added.
6. Repeat the experiment again with salt.

Results:
Solute Number of teaspoon the dissolved in 100ml of water.
Baking soda3
Salt7

Discussion: Salt took more spoonfuls to stop dissolving.

Conclusion: The experiment was really good I learn some new stuff about solubility and it ended up being scuccesful, but i didn't really understand it but it was a good experiment.

Food Technology - Savoury Bread Cases

Last Friday in Home Economics, we made some Savoury Bread Cases.

Ingredients:
Butter
White Bread
Brown Bread
Canned Spaghetti
Canned Beans
Grated Cheese

Equipment needed:
Cupcake pan
Bread knife
Small cutting knife
Cutting board

The first thing that we did was to get the bread, we all got two each, one white bread and one brown bread. What we had to do was to cut the sides off, put some butter on one side of it using the bread knife, put the side that had butter on the cupcake pan carefully without pressing the centre of the bread too much. The next thing that we had to do was to put it in the oven for 5 minutes to let it set and for it to be able to hold it's shape. If you are wondering, the oven was set on fan bake and the temperature was 180 Celsius.

While we wait for 5 minutes, we prepared the ingredients that we are going to put on the middle of the bread. We placed each toppings on different small bowls. The different toppings that we had were some canned spaghetti, canned beans, and some grated cheese.

After 5 minutes, we took the bread out from the oven and started placing all the different ingredients on the middle of the bread. After that, we placed it right back to the oven to cook for just about 10 to 15 minutes. One of my teammates started washing while all of us started doing all the other cleaning things that was also needed to be done.

Finally, the bread was finally finished! We got to eat it outside that classroom because we still got a bit more time and finished earlier than we thought we would, especially because it was the first cooking session for Home Technology. The outside of the bread was really crunchy while the middle was so chewy and also had a lot of flavours.

PE Athletics

Today in PE we are learning how to throw a discus and do high jump. First off we did discus first and I learn how to hold it and throw it. About the discus I learn how to hold it you have to hold it like a clock so you're middle finger has to be on the 12 like how there is a 12 on the clock, Then throw it. After that, We did high jump and I did bad at that i think. we had to jump on the max with two hands up and two legs up and then we had to do it again but with one leg up and two hands up. I guess P.E was alright but I just don't like Athletics.
