Dame Whina Cooper timeline

Today in Social Studies, we were focusing on finishing our timelines on Heros and Villains. We had to choose a popular celebrity like a president or an inspirational person who changed the world and I chose Dame Whina Cooper.I did some research on her about her life from present to where she is at now, and it took awhile to find some interesting things about past life I hope you enjoy. 

Types of Governments

Through the past three weeks in Social Studies, we have been focusing on Types Of Government. We had to get into groups and I am with Chloe, Anneleise, Shontae and Kyla, and then had four tasks to complete. We are displaying our presentation on a slide with all of our research and information and I would say it took us six lessons to get this all done. It has been very stressful through all this but overall it was great learning about Governments. I did enjoy this not going to lie but hope next topic will be more better than this one.

Chocolate Cookies

This week for cooking we made some Chocolate Cookies, it look ages as I had the worst group but it's alright it is what it is lol! 

Here is the recipe 

100g butter

1/2 cup chelsea white sugar

1/2 cup chelsea soft brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla essence 

1 1/2 cups flour 

pibch of salt

1/2 tsp baking  powder

1/2 cups chocolate chips

Method 

Melt butter, and add both saugars and cream these together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla then mix in the dry ingerdients. Roll into the medium sized balls, making sure the mixture is not too wet! put on a well greased baking tray. They shouldn't spread to much so faltten slightly. Bake at 180 for 8-10 minutes.

Tip: You can esily hald this recipe or roll half into a log, wrap in cling flim and frezze. Cut into 15 pieces while still frozen and bake.

Woment Leaders Who Created Change

Today in English/Social Studies, have been learning, talking about government and how were and are the women leaders who created and change the world. I have been foucsing on these 4 women that have done so much for us in the pass! Kate Sheppard, Jacinda Ardern, Dame Whina Copper and Mother Teresa. All those ladys have done so much to this world and I just want to do a little silde show about these 4 women who help this world and how there life journey was like!
